Joyce A. Good

Staff

Joyce A. Good, the matriarch of the family, is the leader of the pack. She's been dedicated to comforting our community at their time of loss for more than half a century. Joyce, a mother of four, is "Mom" to Jeri, Jon, and Jeff. Sadly, in 1983, Jayne Ann passed away following a medical procedure in Indianapolis. She's known as "Grandma Goodie" to six: Landon, Layton, Jeffrey II, Jakob, Corinna, and Cassidy.

Home grown, Joyce graduated with great pride with her RHS Class of 1952. She is a 60+ year member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Women's Service Guild and United Methodist Women. Joyce is a Psi Iota Xi Alumnus and a 50+ year member of the Order of Eastern Star. Grandma Goodie enjoys visits and the good times shared with her grandchildren. Going to garage sales, , flower gardening, decorating, and dining out are great ways to relax. If you've met Joyce, you've made a new friend. She's loyal and possesses the heart of the Energizer Bunny!

Jeri D. Good

Jeri D. Good, born, bred, and lifetime resident of Fulton County, is a proud member of the Zebra class of 1974. Some remember her as "Miss Good", a 30 year teaching veteran with experience in the Tippecanoe Valley and Rochester School systems. With a desire to help friends and families in our community during some of their most difficult times, Jeri has dedicated her next 25 years to funeral service.

In 2006 she graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science with Honors. She embraces the opportunity to assist families with personalization of services, implementing their wishes and writing obituaries, allowing for the celebration of each special life.

A member of the Grace United Methodist Church for over half a century, Jeri is also a Psi Iota Xi Alumnus. She also enjoys her membership with the Lion's Club where she serves on the social committee and as chairman of the scholarship committee. In her spare time she walks her dogs, plays Wii Fit and goes to an occasional dog show. A memorable moment of Jeri's life occurred in 2003 when her Boston Terrier, Cosmo was appointed Best of Breed at the Westminster Kennel Club Show

Jon D. Good

A second generation funeral director, Jon has served families for over 32 years. A 1977 alumnus of Rochester High School, Jon was a team captain of the RHS Swim Team and ran cross country. He earned a bachelors of science degree in secondary education from Manchester University in 1981 before he graduated from Mid-America College of Funeral Service in 1983, as valedictorian of his class. The proud father of Corinna Jayne Ann (age 17) and Cassidy Jo (age 14), Jon treasures the time spent with his girls. They enjoy heading to the beach at Ft. Myers during spring break. They also attend and cheer for the Notre Dame Lady Fighting Irish basketball team. Jon enjoys camping, fly fishing and pontooning the sparkling waters of Lake Manitou. Gardening, yard work and manicuring the landscape is also a special way Jon relaxes. Professionally Jon has established a fine reputation for his forte' with restorative arts and the meticulous attention to detail relative to the appearance of our loved ones. He also looks forward to greeting families and friends during times of visitation. Jon is loyal and devoted to the many friends he's made along life's journey.

Beth Trump

Office Manager

Beth Trump joined the "family" in 1997 at the Grossman Funeral Home in Argos.? She accepted the position of office manager of our new facility shortly after it opened in 2004.

Born and raised in Argos, Beth continues to reside there with her husband Russ. They have four human children and a Boston Terrier son and daughter. Coco-Mo is very content lounging around the house or teaching his younger sister Camilla how to take a dip in their pool. Mr. Patrick Tremer is from Germany, Miss Aoi Nakama from Okinawa, Dr. Edison Faga MD from Brazil, and Mr. Sang Yeol Jung is from South Korea. All are continuing their education in their home countries.

A licensed insurance agent, Beth assists families with pre-arrangements and advanced funeral planning. At need, she is always willing to complete claim forms, veterans form, or any paperwork that needs to be done.

In her free time, Beth likes to relax with a good book, bake, and do scrapbooking

Joe Moore

A family man, Joe is the proud father of four children: John, Rusty, Cris, and Mindy, and Grandpa to nine: Scott, Melissa, Mary, Giuli, Stephanie, Jake, Evan, Katelyn, and Allison. He and his lovely wife Terry have shared life's adventures for 44 years. Joe retired after teaching 42 years. An elementary education teacher, he enjoyed teaching in Silver City, NM, and in the Caston and Rochester School Corporations. He served as head teacher at Riddle Elementary for a number of years and was honored with two coveted awards, the Crystal Apple and Torch of Knowledge. It was his belief that if he could help one student become a success because of his influence, his career was a success.

Joe finds great joy in helping others and expresses many random acts of kindness by sharing his culinary skills with family, friends, and neighbors. Active in the Rochester Lion's Club for over 20 years, he has served his club as president, working on club projects, and living up to the Lion's motto...."We Serve". Presently he serves as chairman of the eyeglasses project and is on the scholarship committee.

At home he raises sheep with the aid of his brother John. Their animals have been shown at various shows in northern Indiana. He also enjoys gardening, hunting mushrooms, and fishing.

Growing up in the Burton community west of Rochester, Joe graduated from RHS in 1958. He earned his bachelors and masters degrees in elementary education as a Western New Mexico University Mustang. He and his wife are members of the Burton-Richland Center United Methodist Church.

A member of our family since 2004, Joe is a valuable member of our team, helping in many ways. He is most prominently known for his compassionate manner and kindness as he greets our friends as they visit families celebrating lives.

Lisa McMillen

A proud 1979 graduate of Rochester High School, Lisa is head of the music department at Riddle Elementary, teaching music, producing and directing programs annually for the 4th and 5th grade students, as well as directing the RMS 6th, 7th, and 8th grade choirs, and accompanying the RHS choir concerts. Garnering her degree in music education from Manchester College and masters degree from Indiana University at Kokomo, Lisa also taught in the Warsaw Community School corporation for four years.

It's with great pride that Lisa has now ascended to a new plateau, "Grandma" to her granddaughter, Bristol Mac Justice, born on January 19, 2013, Gatlin Lee, born March 12, 2014, and Gentry Graham, born October 9, 2015. She's "Mom" to Garrett L. McMillen and Melea J. Justice. Following a courageous battle with cancer, she lost her beloved husband of 28 years, Greg, on March 19, 2010. At home she enjoys listening to music, reading, and taking walks with her black lab, Rebel.

Lisa heads our technology sector and manages the website. She is a licensed insurance agent and assists family's with pre-arrangements. Lisa welcomes friends to the funeral home with a warm smile and helping heart.

Comfort Dog

Canine Companionship - Cori is very loyal and a source of comfort for those who request it. Cori is not only known for her natural beauty attaining her AKC championship in short order, she also has attained her Canine Good Citizen title. Currently she is working on her therapy dog certificate.
