William Frederick "Baldy" Enyart I, 73, of Rochester, passed away at 3:00 AM, Tuesday, May 21st, at his residence. Born in Winamac, on May 9, 1940 William Frederick was the treasured son of Melvin Adam and Edith A. Cramer Enyart. Growing up he shared his childhood with three sisters. On May 31, 1959, William and Patricia Mae Murray were married in Winamac. Their union of nearly 54 years produced six wonderful children. Over the years the family tree flourished with the added blessings 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A truck driving professional, Baldy drove for several companies including Farm Bureau Co-op for nearly a decade, and Fairmount Homes. He enjoyed the challenges of word searches and crossword puzzles. Baldy relaxed while watching the game show channel at home. He was a life member of the Manitou V.F.W. # 1343 and a member of the Eagles Lodge. Visiting with friends over a cup of coffee at the Truck Stop helped Baldy stay abreast of local current events. Paramount in his life was his family, as the patriarch overseeing four generations, Grandpa was always there with his grandchildren and more recently his great-grandchildren. He and Pat followed their activities, sporting events and school concerts. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Pat; 3 daughters: Dawn M. Enyart of Warsaw, Tonya L. Hughie of Carlsbad, NM, Angela K. Storey of Rochester; 3 sons: James L. Enyart of Rochester, William F. Enyart II and companion Fawnda Butler of Leiters Ford, George C. Enyart of Osceola; 5 grandchildren: Brook L. Enyart, Lindsey N. Enyart, William F. Enyart III, Zachary D. Herrell, Kaisor W. Storey; 4 great grandchildren: Aaryah L. Abney, Aaryanna L. Abney, Aaliyah L. Johnson, Braxton M. Enyart; a sister: Patty Jo Stilter and husband Gary of Conover, NC; and two sisters'-in-law: Chris Bradley and husband Chuck, and Cleta Poor and husband Jerry, all of Rochester. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, Pearl and Marilyn, and a brother in infancy. Pastor Thad Stewart will officiate services. Interment will be in the Citizens Cemetery, Rochester.
