Traci M. Kroenecke-Laures, 56, of Rochester passed away on July 4, 2023 at her home.

On June 10, 1967, Traci Marie was born in Waterloo, Iowa.  She was the treasured daughter of  Werner William and Teresa Marie Sampson Kroenecke.  Proudly, she graduated with the Class of 1985 from New Hampton Community High School of New Hampton Iowa. She continued her education at Wartburg College of Waverly, Iowa earning a degree in education.

Traci moved to Fulton County and made Rochester her home in 2016. She was engaged to be married to Michael V. Laures in July of 2023.

Traci was a telemarketer. Previously, as a teacher, she taught junior high school students.  An avid reader, Traci enjoyed reading fantasy and science fiction books. Her favorite author was Ann McCaffrey. She loved music, often listening to Jelly Roll and Tech N9ne. To relax she colored pictures with crayons and gel pens.

Traci cherished the time with her family. Being the master of her kitchen, she created mouthwatering meals, whether it was baked, smoked or BBQed, it was always enjoyed.

Left to cherish the memories of Traci are her fiancé, Mike Laures of Rochester; daughter, Winona Marie Kroenecke of Randleman, NC; son, Donald Sam Kroenecke of Del Rio, TX; mother, Teresa Kroenecke of Del Rio; TX; brother, Todd Kroenecke of Del Rio, TX. and grandson Vincent Tincher.

Preceding Traci in death is her father Werner in 2016.

Private family services will be held at a later date for Traci.
