Tomel Gentry, 54, formerly of Rochester passed away at 12:15 AM, Tuesday, August 12th, at St. Elizabeth East, Lafayette, IN On January 12, 1960, Tomel was born in Pikeville, KY to Tommy and Norma Ratliff Rowe. She was a graduate of Lakeview High School of Chicago. As a homemaker, Tomel cherished the time spent with her family. Tomel is survived by her companion, Darrell Burden; a daughter Tiffany Burden; 3 sons: Sam Gentry Jr., David Gentry, Billy Burden; 8 grandchildren; 2 sisters: Sheila Milam and husband Ira, Patricia Figueroa; a brother Roger Rowe and wife Tamera; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 15 at the Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
