Mr. Thomas M. White, 75, of 2010 Ford Court Road Rochester, passed away Thursday, October 20th, 2011 at Woodlawn Hospital. He was born on September 11, 1936, in Howard County to Howard and Ruth Hunt White. On February 17, 1989, Tom married Janet Keesey Anderson in Rochester. He proudly served our country in the US Army reserves for two stints. Tom was a sales representative for Scott Lad Foods and later retired from WalMart. As a sports fan, he was often cheering for Notre Dame, IU basketball, and the Cubbies. Golf and NASCAR were also favorites. He was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church of Kokomo. Other memberships include the Moose Lodge, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Veterans of Foreign Wars # 1393 and Elks Lodge # 2120 all of Rochester. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Janet at home; a daughter: Elizabeth Ann Presley of Brookville, IN; a son: Thomas J. White of Macy; 3 step-daughters: Debbie Tyler & husband Mark of Rochester, Karen Anderson of Rochester, Tracy Anderson of Indianapolis, IN; one step-son: Doug Anderson & wife Angelina of Rochester; 6 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 6 great- grandchildren, 6 step great-grandchildren; 1 sister: Betty White of Howard County; 1 brother: Bill White & wife Sharon of Howard County. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. A mass of Christian burial will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 24, 2011 in the St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1310 Main St., Rochester with Father Bert Woolson officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday and from 12:45 - 1:45 on Monday in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St. Rochester. The rosary will be recited at 5:30 on Sunday in the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in the Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
