Terry Holloway

Terry Lee Holloway, 70, of Star City passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 15, 2026 surrounded by his loving family.

Born on May 15, 1956 in San Diego, CA, Terry was the son of Jack and Betty Lou (Lewis) Holloway. He grew up sharing his childhood with his sister, Lenae, and went on to proudly graduate from Caston High School in 1974.

A dedicated worker, Terry was employed for many years with the Erie Railroad, where he was responsible for track maintenance. Outside of work, Terry had a deep passion for horses, a love most fondly expressed through raising his cherished quarter horse.

Left to cherish Terry’s memories are Donna Jones, housemate, of Star City; father, Jack Holloway of Kewanna; and sister, Lenae Holloway of Columbia City.

Preceding Terry in death was his mother, Betty, who passed away on March 31, 2020.

Private graveside services will be at the Hoover Cemetery, Athens. Memorial contributions may be made in Terry’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
