Teresa Jewell Austin, 52, of Rochester, passed away at 08:22 PM, Sunday, February 10th, 2013 at Woodlawn Hospital. She was born in Gary on June 11, 1960, to Roscoe and Jimmie Ruth Townsend Malott. Teresa will be loving remembered by her son Jacob Wright of Lafayette; her mother Jimmie Ruth Malott of Woodstock, AL; her father and step mother Roscoe and Tina Malott of Rochester; maternal grandmother Jewell Townsend of West Blocton, AL; a sister Lisa Brown of Delphi; 3 brothers: Richard Malott of Woodstock, AL, James Malott and wife Linda of Sheridan, and Christopher Malott of Rochester. She was preceded in death by her canine companion, Sam, a Lab/Pit Bull mix. Private family services will be held in the Good Family Funeral Home at a later date.
