Taylor Quinn Marrs, 19, of Rochester passed away early Monday morning June 22, 2015, from injuries incurred in an automobile accident in Carroll County. On January 21, 1996, in Peru, Taylor was born the treasured daughter of John Marrs and Mindy Lahman Marrs. She shared her childhood as the big sister to her brother Teagan. With great pride she graduated from Rochester High School with the class of 2014. Taylor had just completed her freshman year at the Art Institute of Indianapolis. With the special gift of a creative eye she was pursuing a career in the arts with emphasis on professional photography. Currently Taylor was a server at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store and Starbucks. Previously she had worked at Moonlight Wine and Dine and Marshall Electric. As a youngster, for more than eight years, Taylor enjoyed competing as a member of Jana's Gymnasts. Her forte' was floor exercise. During Taylor's high school years she was a member of the Lady Zebra's swim team. She recently completed 4-H activities as a 10 year member with the Woodrow Peppers. An avid reader Taylor enjoyed many genre. She was also an accomplished scrap booker. To relax, Taylor enjoyed the hip hop music of Hoodie Allen. She had seen him in concert many times. Left to cherish Taylor's memory are her parents: Mindy Marrs, John Marrs and companion Ashley Heinzmann; a brother, Teagan Marrs; and her two little buddies that she looked upon as sisters, Avarie and Aisley Montel; maternal grandmother, Marcia Lahman; paternal grandparents; Marty Walters, Tom Marrs, all of Rochester; great-grandmother, Hannah Marrs; her aunts: Caryle Andrea Marrs, Laura Black; uncles: Ryan Lahman and wife Lori, Jim Marrs and wife Amy, Mike Marrs and wife Alysha, Thomas Richard Marrs, and Connor Allen Marrs. Preceding Taylor in death are her grandfathers: Leslie "Frog" Walters, Mick Lahman; great-grandparents: Lois Mallock, Don and Lorine Morgan, Oscar and Katherine (Zimpleman) Lahman. Dr. Mark Spencer will officiate services. Burial will follow in the Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
