Susy Meyer, 70, of Rochester passed away at   PM on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at her residence.

On November 18, 1955, Susan Raye was born in Wabash to Edward A. and Carol L. Livengood Sheerer.

Susy and Anthony "Tony" Meyer were married and he has preceded her in death.

As a homemaker, Susy cherished the time taking care of her family. Often, she could be found painting beautiful scenes, using acrylics.  As an avid reader, she went to the library to find the latest in print. Susy wrote to veterans to thank them for their service and to offer encouragement. The Dam Landing of Rochester was her favorite local diner. She enjoyed seeing friends and family there.

Left to cherish the memory of Susy are a sister, Chris Sheerer of Rochester; a half sister, Jill Mowrey of Anderson and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Susy in death are her parents, husband, daughter Kristy Meyer and a brother David McClellan.

A celebration of the life of Susy will be at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18th St., Rochester. Friends may visit two hours prior to the service in the funeral home. Chaplain Jeremy Losier will officiate.
