​Sheila A. Conley, 65, of Rochester passed away at 2:50 AM on Monday, December 15, 2025, at her home, with her daughter and Kent at her bedside. This followed a 2-year brave and valiant battle with cancer.

On January 12, 1960, Sheila Arlette Heise was born in Knox to Raymond and Arlette Agee Heise. Growing up, she shared her childhood with two brothers.  Sheila was a proud member of the Winamac High School class of 1978.

Sheila and Bruce "Kent" Conley were married at a beautiful country wedding on July 19, 1997, in their wood's west of Rochester.  They enjoyed 28 years of life's adventures.

With a strong work ethic, Sheila worked at Braun Corporation of Winamac for the past 14 years.  She took great joy in reading.  Her favorite authors were Nora Roberts and Danielle Steele. She also made time each day to read her Bible.  Of course, she liked watching the soaps and recorded them so she could spend the weekend watching.

Kent and Sheila enjoyed going to concerts, especially classic rock like Phil Collins, Styx and Prince.  As a Grandma, Sheila loved swimming with the Grands and spending time outdoors taking a hike thru the woods!  Being a Grandma was her favorite title of all time and attending the concerts and school activities allowed her to be their number one cheerleader!

Left to cherish Sheila's memory are her husband, Kent; four children: Timothy N. Heise and companion April Spencer of Leiters Ford, Trina Arlette Garbison of Winamac, Jeremy Keith Conley and wife Jasmine of Tiosa, Chad Walter Conley and wife Ashley of Winamac; mother-in-law Marilyn Conley of Rochester; step-mother, Barb Heise of Florida; nine grandchildren: Timmy Heise Jr., Samantha Samons, Tristina Heise, Jasmine Samons, Chloe Conley, Hunter Conley, Brea Conley, Beau Conley, Savannah Hedger; a brother Steven Heise and wife Wendy of St. John; several nieces and nephews; and canine companions, Buffy the Shepherd/Lab blend and Zena a cock-a-poo.

Preceding Sheila in death are her parents and a brother Joey Heise.

A celebration of the life of Sheila A. Conley will be at 12 noon on December 18, 2025, in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18th St. Rochester. Pastors Martin Furrow and Heath Hiatt will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 10-12 on Thursday, December 18, 2025 in the funeral home.

Interment will be in the Mt Zion Cemetery of Winamac.  Memorials may be made to the Fulton County Cancer Fund through the Northern Indiana Community Foundation, 227 E. 9th St., Rochester, IN 46975.
