Rosemary Davidson, 93, of Leiters Ford passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, February 1, 2021.
Rosemary was born April, 18, 1927 in Rochester, IN to Joseph O. and Mabel C. Iverson Ault. She was the youngest of a large and close-knit family and graduated from Rochester High School with the class of 1946.
Rosemary and the love of her life Paul "Red" Davidson were married on December 3, 1950. Together they built their cherished home along the banks of the Tippecanoe River, near to where Red grew up. They shared 57 years of life's adventures together and were leaders in their community; enjoying life along the river and in their many travels. Rosie took great joy in her deep faith and the simple things that life had to offer - watching and sharing nature reports about the birds and wildlife she observed, enjoying a good book, appreciating a delicious meal and spending time with family and friends. Her resilience, zest for life, creative pronunciations, and kind spirit shone throughout all her years.
She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Her immediate family includes her two daughters, Laura J. Davidson; wife Nora Skolnick (Braintree, VT), Paula L. Richardson; late husband Jerry, (Leesburg, IN); grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding Rosemary in death are her parents, husband, son Jack Andrew "Andy" Davidson, an infant daughter, Judith A. Davidson, three sisters, June Hartman, Louise Teel, Joanna Reyes and three brothers, Dean, Dale and Joseph.
A celebration of the life of Rosemary Davidson will be held at a time when it is safe for people to gather together in person. Interment will be in the Leiters Ford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the Tippecanoe Watershed Foundation watershedfoundation.org or the Aubbee Branch of the Fulton County Public Library fulco.lib.in.us .
