Mrs. Rosanna Forney, 88, of Rochester, went home to be with her Lord and Savior at 6:26 PM, Saturday, January 10th, at Woodlawn Hospital. On August 15, 1926, Rosanna was born in Frankfort to Milton and Goldie Duddleston Weaver. Proudly she graduated from Frankfort High School in 1944. Rosanna and the love of her life, Robert Lee Forney, were married on July 30, 1945 in the Shenandoah Baptist Church of Columbia, SC. They shared 65 years of life's adventures. Their union produced four daughters and one son. Two more generations have been added to the family tree. Rosanna cherished the time she spent with her family and grandkids. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rochester. Rosanna will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Robert, and five children: Kathy Siders and husband Maurice of Rochester, William Scott Forney and wife Judith of Denton, TX, Suzanne Halsey and husband Denny of Angola, Rebecca Morris and husband Butch of Denver, Kristie Brooks and husband Chad of Rochester; six grandsons: Marvin Siders, Andrew Halsey, Jason Morris, William Forney, Tyler Brooks, Aaron Brooks, one great granddaughter and four great grandsons. Preceding Rosanna in death are her parents, and seven siblings: Cyril, Thomas, Gladdy, Margaret, Betty, and two in infancy. Rev. Andrew Halsey will officiate services. Interment will be in the Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
