Roberto "Tito" Cervantes, 21, of Rochester was surrounded by his loving family when he passed away at 7:17 PM, Sunday, June 2nd, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, from injuries resulting from a motorcycle accident. Born in Riverside, CA on April 10, 1992, Roberto was the treasured son of Roberto and Norma Valdez Cervantes Sr. Growing Tito shared his childhood with two younger sisters Irma and Crystal. He attended the Plymouth Community Schools thru his junior year. As a Rocky he played football, wrestling, soccer and track, throwing the discus and shot put. In 2009 he transferred to Tippecanoe Valley, graduating with his class in 2010. With great athletic prowess, Tito wrestled at the 180 pound class, played soccer in the Rochester League, and with great pride for the green and gold, wore #51 for the Vikings playing on the defensive line. Currently, Tito was a student at Ivy Tech studying accounting, questing to achieve a dream of becoming an accountant. As an American sportsman, with Brent he hunted pheasants, deer and rabbits. His mom prepared the game for the hunters feast. Tito was an avid paintballer, going on missions with the Fort Knox Club of Winamac. His memberships include the New Song Community Church of Plymouth and the Pheasants Forever. Acquiring many friends as a Pilgrim, Viking and Zebra---Tito is remembered for his radiant smile, sparkling warm brown eyes, charm and charisma. His presence would light up a room! He enjoyed a great friendship and some adventures in life with his girlfriend Raeann. Tito is lovingly remembered by his mother Norma Arven and husband Brent of Rochester; his father Roberto Cervantes of Plymouth; 2 sisters: Irma Cervantes of Plymouth, Crystal Cervantes of Rochester; 2 brothers: Brandon Arven and Bradlee Arven, both of Rochester; grandparents: Irma and Chris DeLaPaz of Plymouth, Ismael Valdez of Reynosa, Mexico, Larry and Mary Arven of Rochester, Trinidad Zendejas of CA; 3 nieces: Bethsaida, Annalis, and Audrey; and his girlfriend Raeann Hunter of Rochester. Pastor William Velarde and Pastor Lowell Ott will officiate services. Interment will be in the Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
