Mr. Robert R. "Bob" Rosenbury, 80, of Rochester passed away on June 7, 2014 at his home. In Fulton County, on September 7, 1933, Bob was born a treasured son of Harry R. and Helen Lowe Rosenbury. Growing up he shared his childhood with a sister Judy and brother Dick. With great Zebra pride he graduated with his class from Rochester High School in 1951. In 1952 he completed classes at the Reppert School of Auctioneering. Most remember Bob as a cattleman broker and auctioneer. He traveled all over the United States and internationally, too. For many years during the 1970's and 1980's he enjoyed sulky horse racing. His memberships include The Eagles lodge, the South Bend Scottish Rite and the Ft. Wayne Masonic Lodge. Left to cherish Bob's memory are his sister Judy Walgamuth of Rochester; two nieces: Tami Murphy and husband Jeff of Akron, Terri Lynne Johnson and husband Dan, Rochester; a nephew Pat Walgamuth and wife Shelly of Akron; a special cousin Joan Bendall of Rochester; several great-nieces and great-nephews including Ryan Johnson, Derek and Sarah Johnson all of Indianapolis, Brianne Walgamuth and fiancee' Joe Egner of Akron, Katie and Corey Kosins of Warsaw, Josh and Kendall Murphy of Dallas, TX, and Joe and Kristen Murphy of Rochester. Those who have gone before Bob are his parents, a brother Richard Rosenbury, and a brother-in-law Terry Walgamuth. Rev. Junior Bose will officiate services. Bob will be laid to eternal rest on the family plot at Rochester's IOOF Cemetery.
