Mr. Robert Lee Newman, 56, of 433 E. 18th St. Rochester, passed away at 7:16 PM, Wednesday, April 11th, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Chicago, IL on September 5, 1955, to Alfred and Clartha Neal Newman. Robert had lived in the Fulton County area since 1986. He had been employed as an iron pourer at Rochester Metals. Robert was a very nice guy, always willing to help anybody that he could. In his free time he liked to watch TV. One of his favorite shows was Charmed. He was often seen at Pizza Hut ordering a delicious sub sandwich. Robert is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Petrina Williams of New Orleans, LA, and grandchildren Kayliyah Gray and Malik Taylor. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Jacqueline Williams in 2009, and a brother Alfred Newman in 2011. Rev. Lenon Harris will officiate. He will be laid to rest in the Citizens Cemetery of Rochester.
