Mr. Richard K. McGlothin, 62, of Rochester, passed away at 4:20 PM, Saturday, May 31st, at Woodlawn Hospital. On November 13, 1951, Rich was born to John Clay and Minnie Donnabell Mikesell McGlothin. Growing up he shared his childhood with a sister Dawn. In 1970 with great Zebra pride he graduated from Rochester High School. A United States Navy Veteran, Rich retired from Fulton Industries this past spring when they closed in March. He enjoyed the friendships and commroderie at the Manitou V.F.W. Post #1343 and the Leroy Shelton American Legion Post # 36. Always at his side was his faithful canine companion Lady. Rich is lovingly remembered by his sister Dawn Rogers of Smyrna, DE; a cousin Sondra Geller of Rochester; nieces Candy and Wendy; and Lady, the blonde colored Chow Chow. Preceding Rich in death are his parents and a brother John "Denny" McGlothin. Chaplain Charlie Azbell will officiate services. Interment will be in the Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
