Raymond "Ray" Hochstetler,  53, of Rochester passed away at 6:45 PM on March 16 , 2018 at Life Care Center Rochester.

On September 17 , 1964 in Elkhart,  Raymond L. "Ray"  Hochstetler was born. He was the son of Glen and Sara Antisdale Hochstetler.  Growing up he shared his childhood with 3 brothers: Glen, Bruce and David.

Ray moved to Rochester from Plymouth about 10 years ago. Prior to his declining health he worked for Modern Materials.  Ray relaxed best while playing video games.  He was a feline fancier who was owned by four cats: Stripey, Boots, Sox and Smokey.

Left to cherish Ray's memory are his special friends Debra and Gary Lakey of Rochester; Mark Dawson of Jackson, Ohio; his father, Glen Hochstetler of Nappanee; and three brothers: Glen Hochstetler Jr. of Nappanee, Bruce Hochstetler and David Hochstetler.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A celebration of the life of Raymond "Ray" Hochstetler will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 21 , 2018 in the Good Family Funeral Home,  1200 West 18th Street, Rochester.  Friends may visit with his family an hour prior to services.
