Mr. Randall E. Spaulding, 69, of Rochester passed away at 6:53 PM, Saturday, December 26 , 2020, at the Seton Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis.

In Terre Haute, Randall Eugene Spaulding was born on August 16 , 1951.  He was the precious son of Robert E. and Roseann Apple Spaulding.  Growing up he shared his childhood with two brothers, Bob and Michael.   The Spaulding family moved  Kokomo, where  Randy graduated from Kokomo High School with the class of 1970.

On May 27 , 1972, Randy married the love of his life, Miss Cecilia Sue Warnock.  From their union came 3 wonderful children: Scott, Kristie and Sheila.  The family tree continued to grow with the added blessings of 6 grandchildren.

A truck driving professional, Randy hauled loads from coast to coast. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge, Sons of the American Legion and V.F.W.

An accomplished musician and vocalist, "Rockin Randy," sang tenor while providing accompaniment on his 6-string electric guitar.  His repertoire included country, gospel and rock and roll.  He enjoyed fishing, baseball and basketball.  There was nothing more relaxing than climbing aboard his shiny red 2018 Harley-Davidson trike and catching the warm summer breeze while tooling around northern Indiana.  Randy was owned by "Baby," his Great Dane lap dog who followed him like a shadow.

Left to cherish Randy's memory are his loving wife Sue; 3 children: Kristie Spaulding and companion Philip Richie of Rochester, Sheila Ann Christman of Las Vegas, NV and Randall Scott Spaulding of Rochester; 6 grandchildren: Suellynn Keil and husband James, Maddison Meyer, Lillyan Meyer, Liam Richie, twins Miles and Violet Richie; and with great expectation "Baby Keil," due to arrive on July 8 , 2021; and a brother Michael Spaulding and wife Carol of Akron.

Preceding Randy are his parents Robert and Roseann Spaulding, a brother Bob Spaulding and a niece Carey Spaulding.

A celebration of the life of Mr. Randy Spaulding will be held at 4:00 PM, Tuesday, December 29 , 2020 in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18th Street, Rochester.
