Mr. Randall L. "Randy" McGee, 64, of Rochester passed away at 3:45 a.m. on Sunday, October 13th at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Ft. Wayne. Born on February 21, 1949, Randall Lee McGee was the treasured son of Harold and Wilma Nette McGee. Growing up he shared his childhood with two sisters, Becky and Evelyn, and a brother Roy. In May of 1969 with great Zebra pride he graduated from Rochester High School. Following graduation, patriotism beckoned him. Randy answered the call serving with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He continued on with his service a number of years with the National Guard. Randy retired from Rochester Metal Products in 2002, due to declining health. His memberships include the Leroy Shelton American Legion Post #36 and the Manitou V.F.W. Post #1343. Left to cherish Randy's memories are his sweetheart Avice Gunter, at home; two daughters: Dominea Trigg and companion Jeff Cole of Akron, Brandy Kanouse and husband Rick of Rochester; a sister Becky Honkomp and husband John of Macy; a brother Roy McGee and wife Debbie of South Mud Lake; and three grandchildren: Mikaela Trigg, Jacob Cole and Tyler Kanouse. He was especially fond of his extended family Gale Reynolds, Jeffrey Gunter and wife Karol. Preceding him in death are his father, mother on October 21, 2012, and a sister Evelyn Faulstich. Military rites will be accorded by the Fulton County Honor Guard and the U.S. Army Honors Team.
