Olivia Dorothy Kleine, 95 years 11 months and 7 days departed this life,  at 2:35 AM on Wednesday, April 8, 2020, at Life Care Center of Rochester.

On April 15, 1924, in Maple Leaf, South Dakota, Olivia D. Ruede was born.  She was a treasured daughter of  Gottlieb and Dora Klaudt Ruede.  Growing up she shared her childhood with two sisters and two brothers.

In Rochester, on October 3, 1942 Olivia married Mr. Ernest Floyd.  They enjoyed 33 years of life's adventures.  Sadly he passed away on February 21, 1976.

On March 7,1987, in Rochester, Olivia married Mr. Howard Kleine.  Their union of 13 years was sadly concluded when he passed away on December 15, 2000.

With a strong work ethic, Olivia was a seamstress for Hart-Schaffner-Marx for two decades until she retired in 1987.  She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Rochester.    Olivia like flower gardening, crocheting and crafts.  Her favorite game was BINGO.   She enjoyed playing many spirited rounds while cultivating  friendships.

Olivia is lovingly remembered by three children, including Gloria Cox and husband Nelson of Rochester and Ernest Floyd and wife Rosie of Greenville, Alabama; ten grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Olivia in death are her parents Gottlieb and Dora Ruede; 2 husbands, Ernest Floyd and Howard Kleine; a son, Jack A. Floyd on August 5, 2006; two sisters: Alice Lewis and Betty Long; 2 brothers:Ernest D. Floyd and Jack Floyd;and great-grandson Jacob M. Goodman on May 11, 2019.

Private family services were held.  Memorial services celebrating the life of Olivia Kleine will be held at a later date.  Interment was in the Athens Cemetery.  Rev Curtis May  officiated.  Memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church, 404 Jefferson St., Rochester, IN 46975.
