Norma J. Starr, 88, of Rochester, passed away at 12:30 AM, Tuesday, July 1st, at Life Care Center. On July 26, 1925, Norma was born in Rochester to Clyde E. Sr. and Bessie Hartman Towne. She was one of 12 children. Norma and George Starr were married on June 1, 1947 in Rockville. He passed away in 1975. Norma will be lovingly remembered by her 3 grandchildren: Shann R. Laccabue and husband Matt of Tampa, FL, Lynn M. Zito and husband Chris of Viera, FL, Todd A. Starr and wife Elizabeth of Naperville, IL; 5 great grandchildren: Christopher A. Galati, Jonathon Paul Zito, Joshua A. Zito, Sarah E. Starr, and Katherine M. Starr; her niece and care giver: Sharon Peters and husband Dan of Rochester; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding Norma in death are her parents, husband, son Paul Gene Starr; 5 sisters: Lucille Rynearson, Mary Anne Winter, Evelyn Schultz, Catherine Crall, Marjorie Maddux, and 5 brothers: Harold Towne, Emerson Towne, James Towne, Clyde Towne Jr., Vernon Towne and Jack Towne. Interment will be in the Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
