Nicholas J. Clevenger, 29, of Rochester passed away on

, 1989, Nicholas James Clevenger was born in South Bend. He was the son of James and Kristine Kay Kraus Clevenger. Growing up he shared his childhood with a sister Laura and brother David. Nick graduated from Rochester High School in 2008. He enjoyed playing basketball thru his school years, but his best sport was bowling. Nick was a member of the RHS men's bowling team. He continued his education and bowling career as a member of the Hoosier's bowling team at Indiana University.
Talented with his hands, Nick worked as an electrician earlier with Rochester Homes. More recently he was a concrete finisher with the Brook's Concrete Company. He was a member of the Faith Outreach Center Church. Nick was a huge football fan, cheering for Notre Dame, the Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots.
With a love for speed and excitement, many memories were made with his family white water rafting and riding the fastest roller coasters. As an outdoorsman, Nick enjoyed camping and kayaking. He and his Dad fished at several undisclosed ponds around the county. Nick and his brother David enjoyed friendly competition with video gaming.
Left to cherish Nick's memory are his parents Jim and Kristine K. Clevenger of Rochester; a sister, Laura Biederman and husband Justin of Elkhorn, Wisconsin; a brother, David Clevenger and wife Kori of Rochester; paternal grandparents James L. and Katrina Clevenger; maternal grandparents Diana K. Hattery of Rochester, and James S. Kraus Jr of South Bend; Aunt Jane Clevenger; Uncle James S. Kraus III and fiancee' Patti Searles, Niles, MI; nieces and nephews: Sierrya A. N. Clevenger, Julian Biederman, Abby Biederman, Macy Biederman and Callen Biederman; 5 cousins: Laci Bennett, Landrey Baldwin, James Kraus, Heather Kraus, Timothy Kraus; and his treasured feline companion Max, the domestic short-hair. Preceding him in death are an Uncle Jeff Clevenger and a step-grandpa Clifford Hattery.
Pastor Terry Baldwin will officiate services.
