Mr. Michael W. Croussore, 66 of Rochester, passed away  at 3:15 PM   on Wednesday,  December 13,  2017 at Logansport Memorial Hospital.  His  beloved wife Cindy and second mother Virga were at his bedside.

On January 15, 1951, Michael Wayne was born in Rochester.  He was the treasured son of  Harley L. and Joanne Hurtz Croussore.   As a teen he enjoyed roller skating at the Roller Rink where he met his future bride, Cynthia K. Clark.  Mike graduated from Rochester High School in 1970.

On June 8, 1974,  in  the Grace United Methodist Church Mike married his high school sweetheart and love of his life Cindy K. Clark.   They were like two peas in a pod  sharing 43 years of life's adventures.

Garnering work experience in the trash business industry, Mike  felt it was time as an entrepreneur to become a business owner.   In June of 1976, Mike's Trash Service LLC was established.  Their first truck was a pick-up with tall sides, manned by Mike and Cindy.  With continuous service for more than four decades their fleet of  green and white high tech trash trucks can be seen cruising city streets and county roads. They continue to serve Fulton County with prompt, reliable custom trash removal.    Mike and Cindy began working with local CPA Virga Smith  whose expert financial  advice proved invaluable to them.  Over the years, Virga, Dave and their staff became esteemed  family members whose generous support far surpassed the usual business relationship.

As a child Mike attended the Nazarene Church with his parents. More recently he was baptized by Rev. Kerry O'Brien at Grace United Methodist Church. Red Skelton was his favorite comedian and Mike felt very lucky to have met him in southern Indiana.  He was also a huge fan of the 3 Stooges.

To relax Mike and Cindy enjoyed game shows especially the Price is Right and Let's Make a Deal.  Auctions shows and Andy Griffith were top on his list.  Their daily routine included eating out and taking  drives around town or a jaunt thru the country or out of town.

Left to cherish Mike's memory are his wife Cindy; father and mother-in-law Willard and Pauline "Polly" Clark; two sisters-in-law: Susan M. Clark  and family of New Paris, Patricia Keim and husband Keith of Rochester; a niece, Natalie R. Keim  of Indianapolis; a nephew, Phillip C. Keim of Gunnison, CO; aunt Frances Good of Elkhart; Mike's second mom, Virga and Dave Smith of Rochester; first employee, Michael Neff of Rochester; special friends Wayne and Judy Cooper of Newburgh; numerous cousins; and feline companion, Hally the Tiger cat.

Preceding Mike in death are his parents.

Pastor Kerry O'Brien will officiate services. Interment will be in the Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
