Matthew A. "Matt' Turnpaugh, 32, passed away at 9:27 PM on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Woodlawn Hospital.

On April 16, 1989, Matthew Allen was born in Rochester to Mark and Michele Seymour Turnpaugh. Matt participated in football and baseball  while studying at Caston High School. He graduated with the class of 2008.

Matt worked as a professional in lawncare and maintenance. He was an avid Cubs baseball fan. Golfing and hunting deer, hanging with friends while listening  to rap music was a great way to relax.

Left to cherish the memories of Matt are his daughter Gracelyn Michele Turnpaugh and her mother, Aby McCready of Star City; father, Mark and Vicki Turnpaugh of Rochester; sister Chelsie Diana Turnpaugh of Phoenix, AZ;  special uncle Scott Seymour and wife Lori of Winamac; other aunts and uncles: Sherry Carrell, Mike Turnpaugh, Steve Turnpaugh, Marla T. Pelszynski, Terry Romine; and numerous cousins.

Preceding Matt in death is his mother Michelle; maternal grandparents Frederick and Diana Seymore; paternal grandmother, Patricia Turnpaugh; and an uncle, Jeff Seymour.

A celebration of life for Matthew A. Turnpaugh will be from 5-7 PM on Thursday, December 16, 2021 in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18 ^th St., Rochester.
