Mary Rockenbaugh, 69, of Rochester, passed away at 8:20 PM on Tuesday, December 27 , 2022 at Vibra Hospital of Northwestern Indiana.

On March 11 , 1953, Mary Ellen Keitzer was born  to Paul Joseph and Ellen Louise Reinholt Keitzer.

Mary and James Rockenbaugh were married on September 17 , 1995 in the Elvis Presley Chapel of Las Vegas. They have shared 27 years of life's adventures. Sadly, he preceded her in death.

Over the years, Mary was a homemaker and cherished the time with her family.  For 18 years she worked at the Railroad Hotels, in Peru assisting with housekeeping. Playing Bingo and visiting with her friends at the Senior Center was always a highlight of the week. To relax she liked to read books about the Amish lifestyle. Watching and feeding the birds and squirrels kept her busy too. Mary attended The Cross Church of Rochester.

Left to cherish Mary's memory are her daughter Amber Waller of Akron; son, Anthony Byerline of Logansport; three grandchildren: Matthew, Kaylie, and JoAnna Knauff;  siblings: Frank Keitzer, Ted Richard and wife Lynda, Rita Jenkins and husband Jim, Hugh Richard and wife Vicki, Joe Richard, Ruth Gunter, Jane VanMeter and husband Kyle, Ed Richard and wife Amy all of Rochester, Mark Richard of Oregon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding Mary in death are her parents; husband; son, Roy Byerline; three brothers: James Richard in infancy, Carl Richard and Charles Richard.

A graveside service at the Monterey Cemetery, Monterey will be announced.
