Obituary

Mary Lou Beauchamp, 89, of Rochester, passed away at 1:13 AM Tuesday, September 6 , 2016, at Life Care Center.

Born in Knox on July 17 , 1927 Mary Lou  was the cherished daughter of John and Lillie Wickizer Wallace.  Growing up as one of seven she shared her childhood with five sisters and two brothers.

Robert Hans married Mary and later passed away.   Then Vernon Beauchamp and Mary were married.   After a number of years Vern passed away.

Mary Lou is survived by her son, Fred Carpenter and his wife Linda  of Rochester; a daughter, Kathy Damron and husband Ed of Tad, WV; a daughter-in-law, Melody Schoff and husband Gene of Rochester;  18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren;  12 great- great-grandchildren; and a sister, Diane Sims of North Liberty.

Preceding Mary Lou in death are her parents; husband; an infant daughter, Starr Ann;  daughter, Marsha Cole; two sons: Robert Hans Jr., and Terry Hans; two brothers: Fred Odel, and Alfred Odel;  four sisters: Dorothy Chambers, Betty Ewing, Maxine Eaglebarger and Peggy Wilson

A graveside service for Mary Lou Beauchamp will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 9 , 2016 at the East Lawn Cemetery of North Liberty, with Rev. Robert Rice officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 PM on Thursday in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18 th St., Rochester.
