In Detroit Michigan, on  May 11, 1939,   Martha Edna Johns was born.  She was a cherished daughter of Wolford Dixon and Mary Roncone Johns.  Growing up she shared her childhood with two sisters and a brother. On July 9, 1979,  Martha and Charles Richard Ross were married in Marcum, IL.   They shared 39 years of life's adventures.

A woman who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, Martha embraced nature while sitting on her porch or gazebo and watched the seasons of the Tippecanoe River.  Penny slots was her favorite game when she visited the casinos in southwest Michigan or northern Indiana.  Some of her best memories were made while camping at Broken Arrow Campground in Winamac and visiting her neighbors, tooling around on her golf cart.   Cruising to the Bahamas, allowed for much fun, relaxation and making new friends.   The very best of times was spent with her family at special celebrations or the holidays.
