Mrs. Marjorie M. Sutton, 88, of 3515 S. 1075 E. Akron, passed away at 6:00 AM, Monday, September 26th, 2011,at her residence. She was born in Fulton County, on June 15, 1923, to Max and Nellie McCain Nicodemus. Marjorie was one of 8 children, sharing her childhood with 4 sisters and 3 brothers. On April 9, 1941 Marjorie and Irvin G. Sutton were married in Rochester. He preceded on May 5, 1986. As a homemaker, Marjorie especially enjoyed baking donuts and cherry pies. She was an animal lover and assisted with farm chores by milking the cows. Marjorie is lovingly remembered by her son Larry L. Sutton of Akron; a step-granddaughter: Mary Koval of Tucson, AZ; and a sister: Mary Day and husband William of Roann. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 sisters: Doris, Hazel, Wilma, and 3 brothers, Ed, Bob, John. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Irvin in the Athens Cemetery.
