Mrs. Marion Jeannette See Cardona, 88, passed away at 4:55 AM, Thursday, April 14th, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Macy on February 28, 1923 to Howard M. and Mary Caroline Tracy See. On August 6, 1944, in Macy, she became the bride of Josief B. Cardona. He preceded her in death on December 19, 1973. Marion was a 1941 graduate of Macy High School. In 1944 she graduated from Purdue and was a lifetime alumni member. In 1985, she retired as the director of the Rochester Community Schools lunch program. Marion was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church of Rochester for nearly 60 years. She was also a member of the Morning Quest Circle. Marion is survived by 3 daughters, Janice Ramsay & husband Edward of Ringwood, NJ, Judith Forney & husband William Scott of Denton, TX, Elizabeth Jordan& husband Peter of New Hope, PA; 4 Grandchildren: Craig Ramsay & wife Teresa, Sean Ramsay & wife Aki, William Aiden Forney, and Hannah Elizabeth Jordan; 2 Great Granddaughters: Jenna & Corina; 4 nieces and 2 nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers, John Howard See, Robert S. See, her dear aunt "Mooney", Mildred Tracy McClain, and a nephew Louis See. A celebration of the life of Marion Cardona will be at 10:00 AM, Monday in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester, with Rev. Maurice Grindle officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Grace United Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Rochester IOOF Cemetery Rochester.
