Mrs. Marietta Scott, 96, of Rochester passed away at 8:39 AM, Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Grace Village of Winona Lake.

On June 1, 1924, Marietta Green was born in Rochester.  She was the treasured daughter of Rudy and Mabel Spurlock Green. Growing up, she shared her childhood with two brothers, Calvin and Robert.

Near Koontz Lake, Marietta and Mr. Paul W. Scott were married on June 28, 1940.  They shared 73 years of life's adventures. Sadly, Paul passed away on January 10, 2013.

As a homemaker, Marietta cherished the times with her family and friends.  She was a good person. She was a member of the Riverview Community Church.

Left to cherish Marietta's memory are a son, Eugene Scott of Rochester; two grandchildren: Brian Scott and wife Jeanine of Fishers, Brandy Saylor and husband Jared of Hicksville, OH; six great-grandchildren: Lauren, Kelsey and Carly Scott, Danni and Dayne Saylor, Katrina Peacock and husband Jon; four great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Marietta in death are her parents Rudy and Mabel Green; beloved husband Paul; daughter, Pamela Sue Scott; granddaughter, Suzette Nelson; and her two Scott brothers, Calvin and Robert.

A celebration of the life of Marietta Scott will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 14, 2020 in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200M West 18 ^th St., Rochester. Pastor Rod Ruberg will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 10:30-11 AM on Monday in the funeral home.  Interment will be in the Reichter Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 4550 Montgomery Ave., Suite 1100 N., Bethesda, MD 20814.
