Obituary

Lois R.  Crull, 86, formerly of Leiters Ford, passed away at 10:07 PM, Thursday, July 19 , 2018 at the Peabody Retirement Community of North Manchester.

In Argos, on November 12 , 1931, Lois Rae Crabbs was born.  She was a treasured daughter of  Fred and Leamay Shaffer Crabbs.  Growing up she shared her childhood with a sister Maxine and three brothers: John, Leo and Paul.

Lois and Richard W.  Crull were married on April 13 , 1952 in Richland Center. They shared 55 years of life's adventures. Sadly, he passed away on April 16 , 2007.  Their union produced four wonderful children: Lesa, Linda, Scott and David.  The family tree continued to grow with the added blessings of five grandchildren and three great-granddaughters.

As a homemaker, Lois enjoyed taking care of her family.  Often  she could be found working in the garden and yard.  She assisted with the family business, Crull Ready Mix, as the book keeper until 1998 when the business was sold.

Left to cherish Lois' memory are two daughters: Lesa Gagnon and husband John of Akron, Linda Morton  of Warsaw; a son, Scott Crull and wife Jackie of Culver; five grandchildren: Mark Gagnon and wife Laura, Brandon Gagnon, Jamie Gagnon and wife Marlayna; Leland Crull; three great-granddaughters: Sophia, Serenity and Marina Gagnon; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Lois in death are her parents, husband, son David Crull on June 1 , 2011, a granddaughter Amanda Gagnon,  sister Maxine Scott, and three Crabbs brothers: John, Leo, Paul.

A celebration of the life of Mrs. Lois R. Crull will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 27 , 2018 in the  Peabody Memorial Chapel at  the Peabody Retirement Community, 400 W 7th St, North Manchester, IN 46962.  Pastor Kellie L Herber will officiate.  The Good Family Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.   Memorials may be made to the Richland Center United Methodist Church, 6900 N. 150 W., Rochester, IN 46975 or the Leiters Ford Community Center.
