Obituary

Mrs. Lesa Greathouse Barker, 48, Rochester, IN passed away at 9:30 AM on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Indianapolis on September 22, 1964, to Larry and Linda Bailey Greathouse. A proud graduate of Plainfield High School, Lisa later attended Cedarville Christian College. For 20 years Lisa worked for National Car Rental as a loss control manager. She also worked as a substitute teacher and bus driver for the Avon School Corporation. Prior to losing her fight with cancer, Lisa owned and operated the Fulton County Gun Club in Rochester. Lisa loved her Lord and cherished the time spent with her family and friends. On March 19, 2011 Lesa and Donald J. Barker were married in Brown County, Indiana. Lesa will be lovingly remembered by her husband Don; her daughter Savannah Jo Boone; her mother, Linda Barker of Bloomfield; her father, Larry Greathouse and wife Delores of Fishers; a sister, Cindy Schulte and husband Nathan of Bloomfield; a brother, Anthony Greathouse and wife Lexi of Monticello; nieces: Lacey Franklin, Kylie Greathouse, Rhylie Funk; nephews: Reece Schulte, Ryan Schulte, Kaden Greathouse, Rheagan Greathouse, Aspen Greathouse; and two step daughters, Ashley Boone and Lindsay Boone. A celebration of the life of Lesa Greathouse Barker will be at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 in the Plainfield Bible Church,752 North Dan Jones Road, Plainfield with Chaplain Jason See officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 12-3 PM in the church. Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery of Plainfiled.
