Mr. Lee W. Lacey Sr., 69, of Leiters Ford passed away at 5:55 AM on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care.

On October 23, 1951, Lee Walter Lacey was born in Dayton, Ohio.  He was a treasured son of John and Florence Swiezler Lacey.  Following high school Lee enlisted with the United States Army, serving for 8 years with stints in Vietnam and Germany.  He served as a mechanic and the in the infantry before being honorably discharged.

In Plymouth, Lee married the love of his life Charlene Marie Alston on July 16, 2001. They have shared 19 years of life's adventures.

Lee was a truck driving professional.  He also was a locksmith and worked as a mechanic specialist on motorcycles.  To relax Lee enjoyed the adventure of SCUBA diving.

Left to cherish Lee's memory are his wife, Charlene; five children: Lee Lacey Jr. and wife Tessa of CA, Gregory "Scott" Lacey and wife Tina of Knox, Patricia Craig and husband Jeremy of Leiters Ford, Amelia Adams and companion Josh Bules of Leiters Ford, Pete Adams of Plymouth; and twelve grandchildren.

Preceding Lee in death are his parents John and Florence Lacy, and a brother, Charlie Lacey.

Visitation for Mr. Lee Walter Lacey Sr. will be from 4-6 PM on Wednesday, December 9th, 2020 at the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18 ^th St., Rochester. Family chapel services will be Friday, December 11, 2020 in the Marion National Cemetery.  Military honors will be accorded by the US Army.
