Laura Faye Shoemaker, 67, formerly of Rochester and more recently of the Woodland Group Home of Logansport, passed away at 7:30 AM on January 11, 2014 at Chase Center of Logansport. On April 29, 1946, Laura was born to Walter G. and Olga Zimmerman Shoemaker in Disko. Laura worked at McDonalds of Rochester for several years. Laura is lovingly remembered by a sister Ruthanna Frantz and husband Robert E. of Warsaw; two brothers: Paul Shoemaker and wife Bonnie of Claypool, Kurt Shoemaker and wife Donna of Gallatin, TN; and nieces and nephews. Preceding Laura in death are her parents and a brother, Gary Wayne Shoemaker. Interment will be in the Akron Cemetery.
