Mr. Larry L. Johnson, 61, of Rochester passed away at 12:50 AM on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Woodlawn Hospital of Rochester.

On May 13, 1958, Larry was born in Plymouth to William and Pauline Humes  Johnson.   Growing up he shared his childhood with his twin sister Terry.   Larry graduated from Triton High School and lived in Tippecanoe most of his life, then later moved to Rochester.

After 30 years of  dedicated service with ABC Industry of Winona Lake, Larry retired in 2004. He was a volunteer with the Tippecanoe Fire Department for many years.  As a fan of NASCAR, Jeff Gordon was his favorite driver.  Larry  watched WWE wrestling and enjoyed the music of Kiss, attending many of their concerts .

Left to cherish  Larry's memory are his twin sister, Terry L. Yeazel of Rocheste; niece, Wendy Grover and husband David; nephews:  Ronald Johnson Jr and wife Shelly, Lynden Swanson III and wife Jennifer, Danny Swanson, Kenneth Swanson and companion Anisa Bradley; canine companions, Rusty, Princess and Snowball the Chihuahuas; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Preceding Larry in death are his parents, brother Ronald Johnson and nephew Billy Joe Swanson.

A celebration of the life of Larry Johnson will be at 12:00 noon on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18 th St., Rochester . Pastor Larry Kreft will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 11-12 on Saturday, December 7, 2019 in the funeral home.

Interment will be in the Tippecanoe Cemetery.   Memorials may be made to the Tippecanoe Fire Department, St. Road 331, Tippecanoe, IN 46570.
