Kristina Jo McIntyre, 49, of Rochester passed away at 11:55 PM on Thursday, June 22 , 2017 at Signature Healthcare of Fort Wayne.

On February 21 , 1968, Kristina Jo Holland was born in Rochester.  She was the treasured daughter of  Robert and Reba Hart Holland. Growing up in Miami County, she shared her childhood with a sister and a brother.  She graduated from North Miami High School.

In Rochester, on May 26 , 2006, Kris married the love of her life,  Michael Shawn McIntyre.  Mayor Phil Thompson officiated the ceremony.  They have enjoyed over eleven years of life's adventures.

Gifted with her hands, Kris enjoyed a variety of handiwork and crafts.  She especially liked to create floral arrangements to enhance the décor of her home.   She loved spending time with her family  especially during holidays and special celebrations.  Paramount in Grandma Kris' life were her grandchildren Eli and Rachael.  They lit up the room when they stopped by for a visit.

Left to cherish Kris' memory are husband Shawn, at home; two daughters: Ashton Hall and husband Zach of Rochester, Johanna E. McIntyre of Mt. Vernon, IL; a song, Dustin J. McKee of Rochester; two grandchildren: Eli I. Hall and Rachael Ruth Hall;  a sister,  Linda Martin; a brother,  Bobby Holland and wife Linea, all of Peru; mother-in-law Patricia  "Pat" Eber of Rochester; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Kris in death are her parents.

A celebration of the life of Kristina Jo McIntyre will be at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, June 27 , 2017 at Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18th St., Rochester. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
