Kody  "Krow" Howard, 24, of Rochester, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022.

On May 2, 1997, Kody Ryan was born in LaPorte to Roger D. and Jennifer Haskins Howard. Growing up he shared his childhood with an older brother Kyle Roger, "GuGu."

Proudly he graduated with the class of 2015 from Rochester High School. While in high school he participated in Zebra football and baseball.  Later he studied criminal justice at Indiana University of Kokomo.

With a great love of music, he played both the acoustic and electric guitars.  He had written music and shared it with family and friends.  Lil Peep and Ozzy were his favorite artists.

Kody worked in customer service at the Smith Farm Store and later worked in road construction for E&B Paving. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion of Rochester.   Kody, his brother and nephews enjoyed the challenge of playing Xbox games. As an armchair quarterback, the Denver Broncos was his team to watch.

Left to cherish the memories of Kody are his parents, Roger Howard of Rochester,  and Jennie Howard of Rochester; brother Kyle Howard and fiance Sarah Lesley  of Deedsville; two nephews: Kolton Blaze Howard and Kohen Dash Howard; maternal grandmother, Denise Russell; paternal grandparents, Ava and Rodney Correll and Ernest Howard; two best friends from childhood, Steven Newton and  DJ Wagoner; Tina Brubaker, who was a second mom;  and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Preceding Kody in death are his maternal grandfather, Henry Haskins and his canine companion, Buddy Howard, a orange/brown Shih-Tzu.

A celebration of the life of Kody R. "Krow" Howard will be at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 in the Good Family Funeral home, 1200 West 18 ^th St., Rochester. Chaplain Teri White will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 4-6 PM on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 in the funeral home. Please wear your favorite sports attire to honor Kody.   Always remember Krow's big heart and smile.

Memorials may be made to the family to assist with final expenses.
