Mr. Kenneth Foster Moore, 28, of Rochester passed away at Woodlawn Hospital on Sunday, September 30, 2012 shortly after his admission. Kenny was born in Plymouth on July 12, 1984, the son of John R. and Nancy L. Stutzman Moore. Growing up on the family farm, he shared his childhood with his sister Katie. During his high school years Kenny was an athlete lettering in both swimming and cross-country. He was also very active with the local F.F.A. chapter. In 2003, with great pride, he graduated from Rochester High School. Throughout his school years Kenny was a ten year Fulton County 4-H member, doing research and creating exhibits of woodworking and electricity. He also proudly presented fine cross-bred lambs. One year he showed Fulton County's Grand Champion goat. During high school he was a Junior leader and in 2003 was apppointed as Duke of the fair. With great pride, Kenny served our country with a tour of duty as a member of the U.S. Marines Corps Unit #1371, as a combat engineer in Iraq. He attained the rank of corporal. Back home, he loved cruising around in his charcoal gray Ford F-150. Kenny was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears and Cubs and anyone who played against Notre Dame. To relax he enjoyed shooting skeet, target practice and deer hunting around Fulton County. He also cherished spending time with his family. Kenny is lovingly remembered by his precious son, Aaron Lee Moore; his father John R. Moore; a sister Katie Moore and fiancé Salvador Sanchez Jr., all of Rochester; his maternal grandparents Calvin and Betty Stutzman of Nappanee; his girlfriend, Casie Atkins of Rochester; Aunts and Uncles: Sue & Dale Welch, Albuquerque, NM, Gary & Kerry Stutzman of Scottsdale, AZ, Jim & Jane Moore of Delphi, Joe & Terry Moore of Rochester, and Jack & Sandy Moore of Mesa, AZ. Numerous cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy on September 19, 2012. Pastor Don Nunemaker will officiate services. Interment will be in the Richland Center IOOF Cemetery, northeast of Rochester. The United States Marine Honor Guard and Fulton County Veteran's Honor Guard will accord military graveside rites.
