Mrs. Judy A. Gudas, 49, of Kewanna was surrounded by her loving family when she passed away at her home on August 1, 2015. Born on July 1, 1966, in Three Oaks, Michigan, Judy Ann was a cherished daughter of William Thomas and Shirley Jane Hess Magers. Growing up she shared her childhood with a brother Joe and two sisters Betty and Gladys. With great pride she graduated from Lewis Cass High School in 1984. In Winamac, on August 29, 2009, Judy married the love of her life and best friend, Eric John Gudas. Together they shared nearly six years of life's adventures. A favorite destination of Judy and Eric is Port Charlotte, Florida. It was here where they relaxed poolside or taking a walk watching the sunset over the warm Gulf waters. They recently planted young palm trees at their southern homestead. As a devoted member of the Bruce Lake Buoy Club, Judy enjoyed floating the sparkling waters while catching the rays on the pontoon. A avid viewer of HGTV, Judy had a forte' for remodeling and decorating her home. Known to family as "Pretty Judy, Mamaw or Grandma Crazy Hair," she looked forward to visits and cherished the time spent with her grandchildren. The creator of extraordinary cheese cakes, cherry delight and blueberry were in the greatest demand. Left to cherish Judy's memory are her husband Eric, at home; a daughter, Heather Kay Wallace and companion Matt Houser of Royal Center; four sons: Jeffrey William Green of Star City, Sean Eric Gudas and wife Amanda of Rochester, Joel Ryan Gudas of Pierceton, Keith Allen Gudas of Winamac; two sisters: Betty Spann and husband Levi of Star City, Gladys Magers; a brother, Joe Magers and wife Rena; her mother, Shirley Coon and husband Randy, all of Logansport; eight grandchildren: Hunter Layne Wallace, Haylah Jo Wallace, Henley Matthew Houser, Seanna Lee Gudas, Savannah Jane Gudas, Searra Anne Gudas, Bladyn Gudas, and Karter Gudas; in-laws, Algird and Erica Gudas of Winamac; and several nieces, nephews and cousins who all adored her. Preceeding her in death are her father, William Thomas Magers, in 1983, and her grandparents. Pastor Heath Hiatt will officiate services. Burial will follow at the Bruce Lake Cemetery. Immediately following the graveside the family will host a dinner at the Bruce Lake Garage.
