Mrs. Judith "Judy" M. Ladson, 82, of Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 5:31 PM at Beacon Health/South Bend Memorial Hospital.

In Macy,  Judith Marlene Dillman was born on March 25, 1939.  She was a treasured daughter of Vern M. and Dora Ellen Dillman.  Growing up she was the 9th of 10 children sharing her childhood with a brother and eight sisters.   Judy was a member of the Fulton High School class of 1958.

In Rochester,  Judy married the love of her life Mr. Lynn L. Ladson, on June 28, 1957.  They shared 27 years of life's adventures.  From their union came three wonderful children, Judilynn, Randy and Serena.  The family tree continued to grow with the added blessings of two more generations.

A woman of strong faith, Judy was a devoted member of the Liberty Baptist Church. She enjoyed solving puzzles and sewing.  With a great joy of being outdoors Judy annually planted flowers around her home to enhance the landscape.  She also had a vegetable garden and mowed her lawn to perfection.  Judy was the official plant inspector.

Judy spent many years working in retail customer service. She enjoyed talking to and helping customers. In addition, she was a real estate investor.

Left to cherish Judy's memory are a son, Randy D. Ladson (Regina) of Lakeville, and a  daughter Serena Benge (Scott) of Venice, FL; 9 grandchildren: Scott Allen Benge II, Selyn Benge, Scotlyn Benge, Christopher Lynn Ladson (Rebeca), Jesse Colin Ladson, Jonathan Mabini (Aila), Hannah Butalid (Ryan), Sarah Mabini and John Dave Mabini;   8 great-grandchildren: Caden Ladson, Colynn Ladson, Jayden Robbin, Leah Ladson, Gabbie Ladson, Sophia Butalid, Jemimah Butalid and Isaac Butalid; 4 siblings: Karon Hoover of Twelve Mile, Janet Gunter (Ralph) of Argos, Vern Dillman (Lois) of Temp, AZ, Carol Wray (Bill) of Frankfort; and a brothe- in-law, Bud Marburger  of Peru.

Preceding Judy in death are her parents; beloved husband Lynn on October 29, 1983; daughter Judilynn Ladson on August 24, 2018; her sisters Betty Rogers, Letta Goodman, Marilyn Craft, Joan Landis and Joyce Marburger.

A graveside celebration of life for  Mrs. Judith "Judy" M. Ladson will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at the Sycamore Cemetery.  Pastor Bill McSpadden will officiate.
