Master Joshua Cain Edison Jr, six months and eleven days old, of Rochester, passed away unexpectedly at 8:49 PM on June 26, 2025, at his home.

An early gift from God just before Christmas, Joshua was born on December 17, 2024, in Warsaw to Joshua C. Edison and Loretta L. See.

Known for his beautiful smile and making others laugh, his nickname was Mr. Happy. A BIG love bug, he took great delight in kisses from his Mommie, always laughing and giggling.  He was crawling all over the house and learning to hold his head up to watch all of the household activities. Though his time on earth was short, he had a profound impact on all who knew him, bringing them great joy with lots of smiles, happiness and snuggles.

Joshua's close family had a special term of endearment and referred to him as "June Bug."  He was proud of his "Black Puppy," that he always had near his side.  It was among his most favorite toys. He will be sorely missed, but his cooing, the happiness and laughter he brought to everyone will live forever in our hearts.

Left to cherish June Bug's memory are his parents, Joshua and Loretta; his brother, Asher Lee See; maternal grandparents, Danny and Dorie See of Athens; grandmother Deborah Tharp; Aunt Elizabeth Thomas; his canine buddy, Roscoe.

Greeting Joshua in the Heavens as he was welcomed into Jesus arms are his grandmother, Patty See on May 3, 2024, and Aunt Tonja Hicks in 2024.

A celebration of the life of Joshua Cain Edison Jr. will be at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18th St., Rochester.  Pastor Thad Stewart will officiate. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
