Obituary

Jerimy Wayde Biltz, 32, 10214 S. 1000 North, Akron, passed away at 1:05 p.m. Saturday at his residence. Jerimy was born on July 13, 1978, in Plymouth, to Michael and Cindy (Fisher) Biltz. Growing up he shared his childhood with his sister Destiny. As a proud member of the Tippecanoe Valley Class of 1998, Jerimy was an avid man of the mats, participated on the track team and wore No. 33 playing the fleet footed wide receiver for the Viking football team. On Oct. 25, 1997, Jerimy and Angela Smith were married in Silver Lake. Over the years their family grew with the addition of a handsome son Dyson and a beautiful daughter Taylor. Together they enjoyed camping and Jerimy loved being with his kids and teaching them about the appreciation of nature. Fishing and hunting were also among priorities for them. Working at the Louis Dreyfus Commodities of Claypool, Jerimy was a bean prep operator. He was also a proud member of the Mentone Police Department and a former member of the Fulton County Sheriff's Department Reserves. He attended the Gospel Hill Church of God in Silver Lake. Jerimy will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Angela Biltz, Akron; daughter Taylor Shea Ann Biltz, at home; son Dyson Michael Larry Biltz at home; parents, Mike and Cindy Biltz, Akron; his sister Destiny Shea Nicole Biltz, Mariastein, Ohio; grandma Yvonne Ingle, Muldrow, Okla.; grandpa Thomas C. Fisher, Mentone; aunts & uncles, Tina and David Bratton, Tippecanoe, Bonnie and Tom Nethercutt, Muldrow, Okla., "Abe" Thomas C. Fisher II, Rochester, Terry Biltz, Rochester; Chris Biltz, Rochester, Pam Birge, Rochester; and many cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donna and Gene Biltz, and aunt Helen Biltz. A celebration of the life of Jerimy Wayde Biltz is at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester, with the Rev. Frank Whitaker officiating. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment is at the Athens Hoover Cemetery, Athens. Memorials may be made to the education fund for the children of Jerimy W. Biltz, envelopes are available at the funeral home.
