Jeffrey L. McClellan, 70, of Macy passed away unexpectantly at his home on November 24, 2025.

On March 23, 1955, Jeffrey Lee McClellan was born in Gary.   He was the treasured son of William R. and Ilene J. Grimmer McClellan.  Growing up, he shared his childhood with four beautiful sisters.  Jeff graduated with his class in 1973 from Lake Central High School, St. John.

With a strong work ethic, Jeff began his career at Moore's Business Forms. Working there until they closed the Rochester plant, he then transitioned to Rochester Metal Products where he conducted quality control.  Many will remember Jeff to be a history buff.  He had special interest and acquired a vast knowledge of World War II.

Left to cherish Jeff's memory are his mother, Ilene McClellan of Schererville; four sisters: Cindy (Ron) Pitney of Arlington, Texas, Marcia (Jerry) Utter of Kewanna, Jill Doss of Cedar Lake, Julie Dalessandro of Lowell; and numerous nieces and nephews who also survive.

Preceding Jeff in death is his father William "Bill" McClellan.

Honoring Jeff's wishes his family will observe a celebration of life at a later date.
