Jane A. "Janie" Harrold, 52, of Kewanna, passed away at 5:44 AM, Sunday, July 1 , 2018 at her residence following an unexpected cardiac event.

In Logansport, on June 4 , 1966, Jane Ann Herd was born.  She was a treasured daughter of Louis and Joan Wiser Herd.  Growing up she shared her childhood with a younger sister Tricia. With great Comet pride she graduated from Caston High School in 1984.

At the Fletchers Lake United Methodist Church, Janie and Gary Harrold were married on July 19 , 1997. They have shared 21 years of life's adventures.

Janie will be lovingly remembered by her husband Gary; two daughters: Brittney Thompson and husband Chayse of Rochester, Haley Markley of Syracuse; a son, Matthew L. Harrold and fiancé Leslie Einspahr of Argos; three grandchildren: Kayleigh Einspahr, Kamden Harrold, Rhemi Shaye Thompson; parents Louis and Joan Herd; a sister, Tricia Martin and husband Heath and their children Conner Martin and Madison Martin, all of Kewanna; special friends Wendy Sutton, Lynn Mull, and? Judy Brown; and Bella Mae, the silver and white Multi-Poo. Preceding Janie in death are her grandparents.

Pastor Dave Sommers will officiate services.  The family asks to honor Janie's memory to please be comfortable and dress casual.  Interment will be in the Fulton Cemetery.
