Former Akron  and Rochester resident, Ms. Janice M. Bahney  77,  was surrounded by her loving family when she passed away at Life Care Center, Rochester at 8:55 PM, July 22 , 2017.

In Wabash County, on February 28 , 1940, Janice Marie Flook was born.  She was the treasured daughter of  Ray and Axie "Lucille" Cole Flook.  Growing up as one of the five Flook children, she shared her childhood with three sisters and a brother.

Left to cherish Janice's memory are her four children: Marty Bahney and wife Kathy of Warsaw, Ty Bahney  of Rochester, Lory Goebel of Ft. Wayne and Jill Pugh and husband Kevin of Rochester;  13 grandchildren;   10 Great-grandchildren;  and a sister, Sharon Ballee of Wabash.  Janice was predeceased by her parents; a daughter, Jana Bahney Green; a granddaughter Aubrey Hogue; a brother and two sisters.

Ch. Teri White will officiate services.  Burial will follow in the Gilead Cemetery.
