Jane Louise Burkett, 90, of  Rochester passed away 12:10 AM, Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Life Care Center of Rochester.

In Fort Dodge, Iowa on January 17, 1930, Jane was born to John and Alma Peters  Crosby.

Jane was a member of Faith Outreach Center of Rochester. She read her Bible daily. Playing board games with her grandkids was always enjoyed. Grandma was very good at Yahtzee and Chinese Checkers.  Jane could often be found working word search puzzles.

Jane is lovingly remembered by two daughters, Mary Lou Swanson, and Tina VanSpeybroek,  both of Rochester; two sons: David John Burkett and wife Ann of Plainfield, Paul Burkett and wife Jaime of Warsaw;  18 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren.

Preceding Jane in death are her parents; her twin, Jack Crosby in infancy; two sisters: Lucille Karney, and Grace Locy; four Crosby brothers: Richard, Robert "Bob", Howard and William "Bill".

A celebration of the life of Jane Burkett will be at 6:00 PM on Monday, February 3, 2020 in the Faith Outreach Center, 1125 E 9 ^th St., Rochester. Pastor Terry Baldwin will officiate. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service.
