Mr. James Lee Newlin, 89, of Rochester passed away unexpectedly at 10:27 PM on December 30th, 2024 at his home with his wife Donna at his side.

On March 7, 1935, James Lee Newlin was born in Hutsonville, Illinois.  He was the treasured son of Glen Byrl and Ruby Agnes Meeker Newlin. Growing up he shared his childhood with a sister Mary Jo and a brother Maurice.

On August 16, 1953, Jim married his high school sweetheart, Miss Donna Sue Mikeworth.  Together they shared over 71 years of life's adventures.  From their union came three wonderful children: Jeff, Lori and Julie.  The family tree continued to grow with the blessings of two more generations.

Left to cherish Jim's memory are his loving wife Donna; daughter Lori Frounfelter (Dr. D.J.) all of Rochester; grandchildren: Lesley Klauk (Alec), James Lee Newlin II (Amanda), Melissa Huffman (Aaron), Dr. Bill Frounfelter DDS, Dr. Adam Frounfelter DDS, (Dr. Alice DDS), Dr. Tyler Frounfelter DDS (Martha), Kelsey House NP-F (Mark), Dr. Eric Wagoner DDS (Ingrid), Dr. Jenny Faber OD  (Ryan), Dr. Evan Wagoner DC (Melanie); 26 great-grandchildren; a sister Mary Jo Holmes (Keith) of Hutsonville, IL; and his treasured canine companion Carolina, also known as Cari, the blonde Pomeranian.

Preceding Jim in death are his parents; a son, Jeffrey Newlin on March 9, 2016; a daughter, Julie Wagoner on May 25, 2018; and a brother, Maurice Newlin.
