James H. Davis, 67, of Rochester, passed away at 8:40 AM, Monday, February 10th, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne. On February 28, 1946, James was born in Lorado, West Virginia to Albert L. and Violet Rose Burgess Davis. James is lovingly remembered by two sisters: Bernice E. Ross and Brenda Sue Prince, both of Rochester; and several nieces and nephews: Barbara Justice Miller of Rochester, Chuck Davis of Smithfield, TN, Buddy Lovell Davis of Germany, Junior Davis, Pam Davis, Virginia Davis, Debbie Davis, & Orlena Davis all of Columbus, OH, Billy Prince of Elgin, IL, Diane Davis of Williamson, WV, Tammy Prince, Amy Prince, Sam Prince, Jackie Prince & Paul Prince all of Man WV, Paula Davis & Kim Davis of Paducah, KY and Johnny Lee of Wilmington, DE. Preceding James in death are his parents, 2 sisters: Audrey Prince, Redith Marie Lee; and 3 brothers: Albert "Pete" Davis, Dallas Davis, and Tallas Davis. Interment will be in the Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
