Former Rochester resident, Mr. James Franklin Davis, 87, passed away at 2:00 AM, Thursday, November 6th, at Missions Trail Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, TX. On April 24, 1927, Jim was born in Windfall a treasured son of Thomas C. and Winnie Andrews Davis. Growing up he shared his childhood with two sisters and two brothers. Jim and Ruth Ann Dillon were married in September 24, 1950 in LaFountaine. Together they shared 53 years of life's adventures. Their union produced a beautiful family, three daughters and a son. Over the years the family tree flourished with the added blessings of two more generations. In October 2005, Jim and Edna Caler were married in Texas. They enjoyed nine years together in southern Texas. As the patriarch of the Davis family Jim was proud to oversee four generations. In his early years he enjoyed raising and nurturing his family with Ruth Ann. Jim was very proud of his children and their accomplishments through life's journey.
