James Brumbaugh, 82, of Rochester passed away at 3:35 AM on Monday, April 18, 2022 at his residence.

On September 16, 1939, James Allen was born in Ohio to Elmer and Martha H. Garber Brumbaugh.

James and Eileen Elizabeth Royer were married on October 5, 1963 in Camden. They have shared 58 years of life's adventures.

James loved working the soil of his garden and farming the land around him.  As a Jehovah's Witness, he often shared his beliefs with neighbors, friends and family.

Left to cherish the memories of James are his wife Eileen; seven children: Nathan L. Brumbaugh and wife Kimberly of Argos, Rebecca F. Detwiler and husband Brent of Argos, George I. Brumbaugh and wife Veronica of Granbury, TX, Daniel J. Brumbaugh and wife Sonja of Moncks Corner, SC, John E. Brumbaugh and wife Josephine of Palm Coast, FL, Harley J. Brumbaugh and wife Lindsey of Winnemucca, NV,  Simon J. Brumbaugh and wife Tania of Palm Coast, FL;  six grandchildren: Elijah G. Brumbaugh, Jessica Detwiler, Letisha Hero, Alyssa Detwiler, Caleb Brumbaugh, Robert Brumbaugh; sister, Eileen Grubb of Rock Hill,  SC; four brothers: Delbert Brumbaugh and wife Ruth of Camden, Jesse Brumbaugh  and wife Laura of Heron, MT, Lee Brumbaugh and wife Beverly of Greenville, OH, Steven Brumbaugh of New Paris, OH; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding James in death are his parents a sister, Vera Powell and infant twin brothers.
